I need to know how to remove the passenger side wiper arm on a 2011 Ford Expedition. There are no clips on them to undo that magically pops them off (like every other god damned large Ford vehicle), and removing the nut doesn’t move them AT ALL. I have searched the google high and low, and have not found any directions to remove them (3rd generation Expedition, 2007-2017).
If an answer is not found within the next few hours, the car must be sent to the mechanic since the passenger side wiper arm doesn’t work.
Help me, Oppo. You’re my only hope.

Using a gear puller might help

Blow torch. Missile launcher if that fails.

They’ll let me borrow one? I wish I had known that when they were open.

Yeah, and pretty much any tools

Got any pictures? A lot of cars have a bolt you have to undo, then pry or use a puller to get them off. Some fords have a little tab you pull out and they just pop off. Many cars have a little plastic shield that needs to be flipped up or unclipped to access the mechanism.

Patrick Bateman saying he’s about to go nuts. Yep, time for me to go off the grid

My metro wiper arms had a nut, and were tapered and splined. Maybe a couple taps could get it off the taper.
Good luck.

I’ve used the second one shown, works well. I imagine the other style will work fine also. I’ve also been able to use the ball joint separator tool in a pinch, but I don’t recommend that route.

I bought a little Harbor Freight slide hammer to do this on my truck. It’s an invaluable tool any time you need to yank on something with almost no place to grab it. I think it was less than $30

No tabs, but I think I’m going to need to go borrow a damned puller. Annoying. As. Shit.

Mistake #1: Thinking that going off the grid makes you safe.
I mean, it certainly helps, but right now I’m more concerned that I’ll start getting stabby with my wife’s SUV.

I’ve always just been able to gently wiggle them off once the nut is off.

I tried gently wiggling. Then I tried slightly less gentle wiggling. And then just wiggling.
It ended with me pulling on the arm as hard as I could, while cursing into the night at its stubbornness.

Yeah I guess just try to borrow a puller then, I’ve always just kinda see-saw’d them off.
